and then paste it into

c:\Program Files\lotus\notes\framework\shared\eclipse\plugins\com.ibm.productivity.tools.base.app.win32_3.0.0.20070725-1652

Well Notes starts. . .

I’ve been struggling on the Notes 8 implementation too, since it seems that IBM has not documented the Java classes and XML files at all. Normally, like in Notes 8 Basic or Notes 7 you could do your business required mods into the mail template, but with Notes 8 Standard that seems impossible without a decent documentation. Yes, you can still modify the mail template itself, but a number of features are hidden in the Eclipse UI, like the ability to add the selection bar in addition to the Microsoft Windows style selection methods of documents in views. On the other hand, Eclipse mods could be compared to exe/dll file mods in Notes 8 Basic/Notes 7, but IBM even suggests to make your own add-ons to Eclipse, however without any or very sparse documentation.
